Technology in the classroom has become an essential tool for learning and understanding. According to Pierce and Ball (2009) their findings, the attitudes of students toward math improves when they utilize technology in class. In addition, they are able to develop a deeper level of understanding of the subject. This is because students can explore math concepts in a variety of ways, such as using a calculator to solve problems or online manipulation tools. However, incorporating the correct technology into math classes requires a lot of thought and a thorough understanding of how it works.

One of the main benefits of integrating technology into maths lessons is that teachers can discover more innovative ways to teach the subject. Some of the more recent digital tools are designed specifically to benefit students’ modeling and visual power. For example, software applications allow students to build 3D geometric models of objects like cubes and cones in a way that helps them comprehend the characteristics and shapes of these objects.

The most effective technology tools also assist students free up their working memory so that they can focus on formulating and building models. They also help in the creation of public records of thought, which are modifiable and transferable, as well as shareable with colleagues and teachers. This method aims to bridge the gap between informal knowledge of students and formal structures of mathematics and science-related phenomena.
